We've been around for over twenty five years..

Founded in 1984, MECTA, Inc.TM and MECTA Outdoors have grown from a small educational company to an organization committed to teaching emergency medical standards, practices, and ethics. In the last 24 years, MECTA has expanded in depth, diversity and scope of instruction.

MECTA offers an extensive list of course's. Presently our list of courses includes studies in Emergency Medical Technician, First Responder, First Aid, Wilderness Technician, Industrial First Aid and Stress Management (see our complete course listing at the courses link). MECTA also offers courses that are specifically developed for children. These include a variety of specialized courses, some of which are focused on the outdoor environment.

As we continue to surge ahead in the development of fundamentally sound courses for the health care professional and layperson alike, we remain focused on our students. Our students are our most valuable resource. They serve as a constant voice in continuing education.

At the head of our family of instructors are the matriarch and Chief Executive Officer Linda J. Gosselin and her daughter Jaimie L. Gosselin, who is MECTA's Vice President.

MECTA has developed a professional relationship with numerous private, state, and municipal agencies and organizations. Some of which are ABCD Headstart, Action for Boston Community Development, Avecia Neo Resins, Cahners Publishing, Clark University, Concrete Services, Houghton Mifflin Publishers, Lilliput Early Childhood, Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Academy, Norton Company, Saint Gobain, Town of Hopkinton Fire and Police Departments, Town of Northborough Fire
